Organisation

The members of the Board of Directors of Shipbrokers Finland represent all of the three membership groups, that is, ship agents and port operators, chartering brokers, and liner traffic and container shipping companies.

The Board is comprised of eight members and the chair. The mandate of Board members is three years, after which two deputy members will become Board members, and the Annual Meeting will select two new deputy members. The Board is responsible for the planning of the activities and for the finances. Shipbrokers Finland employs one person, the General Manager, who is in charge of the practical implementation of the activities.

The highest decision-making body is the Annual Meeting, which convenes once a year in the spring. Each member company has the right to vote at the Annual Meeting.
